Summer Caregiver Series (Youville Place)
Caregivers are often so focused on helping others that they forget to ask for support when they need it, or to take time for meaningful activities away from caregiving. Whether you are a professional or provide care for a loved one, practicing self-care will benefit both you and your client in the long-term. The Summer Caregiver Series at Youville is free and available to anyone who is a caregiver. We invite you to join us in Lexington for any or all of our activities!
Nurture your inner artist and join us for a relaxing evening of pottery decoration. We will paint and design pottery while enjoying wine (non-alcoholic options will also be available) and conversation. The pieces will later be brought to The Clayroom in Brookline for firing. Attendees will receive their finished work after it is fired, to be used and admired at home or in the office!
Lexington resident Natacha Viollet will host a relaxed dinner conversation focused on finding that ideal balance between family, career, and personal fulfillment. Natacha hails from Paris, is a mother of six young adults, a pediatrician, and a Boston-trained hospital chaplain. She will share her personal experiences balancing competing priorities on both sides of the Atlantic, while finding plenty of time to seize life’s great opportunities.
