Youville Crescendo Chorus: Singing Therapy For Symptoms That Affect Speech

Youville House offers free, community singing therapy for PD and other conditions that affect speech.

The Youville Crescendo Chorus is a therapeutic music program for people who are experiencing changes in their voices. Whether you are living with a neurological condition like Parkinson’s disease or a different age-related cause of vocal weakness, participation in Crescendo Chorus can help improve audibility, volume, and articulation through a mix of enjoyable, collaborative singing exercises. This class is led by a licensed neurologic music therapist from MEDRhythms Therapy and offered every other week.

We are thrilled to be able to offer this innovative program for free to anyone who wants to participate, No musical experience is required.

Monday, April 1, 15 & 29; May 13 (No meeting on Memorial Day); June 10 & 24; July 8 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
